Insulated DIY Garden Room Kits

Our range of self build garden room kits are ideal for homeowners who aren’t in a position to wait for an installed garden room, office or studio. Our DIY garden room kits can be selected from the ‘off the shelf’ set size range or by using the ‘made to measure’ service for individual project requirements.

Every garden room achieves high levels of thermal performance and air tightness, requires minimal site assembly time and features a high-quality contemporary finish that will continue to perform year after year.

What is a DIY Garden Room Kit?

Our DIY garden room kits utilise a forward-thinking fabric first and modular approach and are manufactured at our purpose-built facility in Gloucestershire.

Panel size and weight have been carefully designed to make manual handling and assembly easy, even in areas of tight access, which in turn helps reduce on-site labour requirements. The prefabricated panels are manufactured using high quality grey EPS insulation and FSC certified and graded timber, to exacting standards.

All of our DIY garden room kits have been developed with quick onsite assembly and long-term performance in mind. The result is a building with high levels of thermal performance and air tightness, minimal site assembly time, reduced waste and a high quality contemporary finish that will continue to perform year after year.

A full set of instructions is supplied with each room. All sizes are internal dimensions to the SIPs panel.

SIP wall, roof and floor panels 122mm thick (100mm insulation)
SIP floor panels with bitumen coated underside
Water resistant floor bearers
Door opening and lintel sized to room from 2 metres to 2.8 metres
All splines, timber cappings and floor and top plates
Full fixing kit of screws and timber locks
Expanding foam and wood glue
400mm overhang to front
D.P.C. and rain sheet
Full instruction guide and video
Full technical drawing, including ground screw layout (if required)

Optional extras

On all kits, additional windows and doors are available in UPVC.
Aluminium bifold doors can also be specified as an upgrade.

The home workshop is great, more than I imagined.

The prior information, drawings and links to instructional videos were a great help, and prepared us for the task ahead . The thermowood cladding was great to work with on two sides and the box profile cladding was straight forward. The roof was just as the instructional video and went on well.

Really, really pleased with it

Really pleased with it all and enjoy sitting and taking in the view, glass of wine in hand of course! We did new decking immediately outside of it, in order to open the bi fold doors fully as an extension to the room. All in all, really, really pleased with it.
